Addington Eventers Grand Prix

Last night i went to Addington to do the Eventing Grand Prix with Mossy. There were 47 in the class, and unluckily i was drawn 3rd to go, and the first 2 didn't even get round!! I knew the cross country part was technical and quite tight for me, but we gave it our best shot and jumped clear! However i took a stride out on the cross country bit between 2 fences and my next fence was on a very sharp left hand turn after, i was going too quick and nearly missed the next fence, mossy jumped it from almost standstill so i lost a bit of time (and style!) I also lost a few seconds turning back to a bounce. When he is running forward he just gets quite strong to turn. But after those two mistakes he finished well and i was pleased. I thought the course was tough and many people got Eliminated. We finished 10th, just out the prizes. Bill Levett won. It was a fun night but im kicking myself for those mistakes, i'll have to practice my polo pony pirouettes a bit more!
