Our last minete decision to attend Clayton and Lucinda Fredericks lecture/demo at Brackenhurst College was really worthwhile, Lucia and I really enjoyed it. We had the pleasure of watching Claytons top horse Ben Along Time, and Lucindas little star Headly Brittania. They were both informative and fun. Clayton demonstated control in very simple terms, and how he trains his horses to turn like polo ponies, to enable him to have ultimate control and move ability on the cross country, making him quicker and agile. So today i've been practising!!! Headly Britannia demonstrated some lovely flatwork, her changes were immaculate. So it was very enjoyable, and i picked up lots of tips and excersises. Dad is in hospital after his ankle replacement operation, but is well and i went to see him yesterday. He is looking forward to coming home, hopefully on Monday.
I spotted some snowdrops in the woods today, not sure if they signify spring or snow?! It was spring like today, and even warm this afternoon, a perfect day for riding, and we all appreciated it!
