Yesterday i took 4 horses to jump at Valeview Equestrian Centre. Although when we left it was a beutiful sunny day, once again it spoilt and thank god we were in an indoor school!!!
I rode Nenagh, Saffy, Milly and Mossy. Nenagh jumped really well, i jumped a bigger course than before and she really began to operate. Saffy felt fantastic. Again i jumped her over a big track on my second round, with a few wide oxers just to make her use herself again and she responded very well. Although her technique is slightly unorthodox, she really tries to jump every fence, and always tries to be careful. Milly was in a know it all mode, and i felt like a passenger. She jumped well, and carefully but i think im going to spend a little time schooling this week, as it all felt a little quick! Mossy felt great, he was more rideable than on Sunday, and so i gave him a stretch over a big track on his second round, and although occasionally still wanting to cut the corners, he gave me a great feel over everything.
My day was completed by Dinner at Langer Hall with Dean to celebrate my Birthday and the food was excellent, and i'd thoroughly recommend going!
Tonight ive made a last minete decision to go and watch a lecture demo by Clayton and Lucinda Fredericks...................
