Weston Lawns Showjumping....

It was back to Weston Lawns for their first affiliated show of this year. It is the best place, and I love going, although today we nearly got blown away!! It was touch and go at times as the fences kept blowing over! I took Nenagh, Desi, Bee, and Mossy. Nenagh jumped first, and set a high standard for the others to follow, it is my first show with her after that minor injury, and she felt on great form and jumped a nice double clear in the 1.05m Open. Desi jumped very well too in the 1.05m open, but a jockey error meant he just caught the back rail of an oxer going in to the double at the last fence. Bee impressed me as I jumped her in that class too, plenty to look at for a baby, and she jumped a super clear in the first round. I didn't jump the jump off part, as i thought it was a bit big for today, so I finished on a good note. Mossy was keen as he always is, and jumped a good double clear in the newcomers. I now need to get them registered with the BSJA so I can win some money when it goes well!!
Gatcombe has been cancelled today, so im keeping my fingers crossed that we can still go tommorrow. I will wait and see what the ever changing weather does tonight!!!
