Brigstock

I have just got home from my second day at Brigstock horse trials, I was there on Friday with Pascal and Nenagh in the novice, and today with Bee and Milly in the pre novice. I was treated to a beautiful setting and perfect going which came as a welcome surprise, as after the heat wave all our ground has gone from soaking wet to rock hard!
All four performed really well, all jumping double clears, and doing good tests. Pascal was 3rd, Nenagh 10th, Bee 9th, and Milly 6th. Pascal gave me a great ride XC, Nenagh did her best dressage and showjumping round yet this year, so I was delighted. Bee jumped very well in the SJ ring, and wasn't fresh like at keysoe, so all my work playing over fences since Keysoe had paid off, and Milly is a little pro, knows what to do and does it very well. She had a smart dressage of 29. I have to say I thought Bee was harshly marked as she did a lovely test and got 39, with six's for her trot work, so I was a little frustrated!
Brigstock is a definite in the diary for next year, it was a fab event!
